Here’s what’s been happening!!

Planning for Your Future, Friday, September 10! Presented by Dr. Scott Miller, current President of the Western PA Chapter/NHF, this program provided an overview of personal financial planning, including saving for your future, maintaining adequate insurance coverage and planning for vocational or professional education. This was a wonderful night of information!

DVC Golf Classic, Monday September 20!
Sponsored by CSL Behring, this event was held at Radnor Valley Country Club in Villanova. We had a great day of golf, food and fun!! Thanks to the 2010 Golf Committee: Marty Piper, Dan McKinley (CSL Behring), Sue Harrigan and Jill Abrams for all of their hard work! Thanks, again to CSL Behring for sponsoring this event to benefit the DVC!!

Keller Williams golfThe Keller Williams Golf Classic, Thursday, September 23!
We are honored that Keller Williams Real Estate of Blue Bell, PA chose the Delaware Valley Chapter as the recipient of funds raised at the Keller Williams Blue Bell Charity 4th Annual Golf Outing which was held at the Center Square Golf Club in Norristown, PA. A great big “thank you” to Harry Green, the many event sponsors and our dear friends at Keller Williams for providing this wonderful day!

DVC Annual Family Camp Weekend, September 24-26!
With more than 400 people attending this year, we had a packed weekend of fun, great food and friendship! Located just outside of Lansdale, PA, DVC area families spent lots of time together at Camp Green Lane. If you missed it this year, mark your calendars for the weekend of September 23rd 2010!! Details will follow in future issues of The Winning Spirit!

NHF New OrleansNHF Annual Meeting, New Orleans, November 11-13!
This annual meeting brings medical providers, patients, families and scientists together for three days of education and training. For more detailed information visit the NHF website at: www.hemophilia.org.

NHF Holiday PartyAnnual Holiday Party, Saturday, December 4!
Mark your calendars for this fun day, held at Alumni Hall, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Food and fun for all! Each child receives a gift.

This is the best family event, ever! A fantastic day at Thunderbird Lanes in Northeast Philadelphia. Bowling, pizza, prizes and more!!

Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon, Saturday, April 9, 2011!
The DVC Ladies’ Committee has lots of surprises in store for you! A day of fashion and a special guest will make this the perfect Spring event at the Drexelbrook in Drexel Hill, PA!


Women’s VWD Retreat on the Hill, April 30-May 1, 2011!
This is a weekend of education and relaxation for women in families affected by VWD. Education and programming are provided by local experts from the Hemophilia Treatment Centers. Will be held at the beautiful ACE Conference Center in Lafayette Hill, PA. This event made possible by a grant from CSL Behring.
